Intensive 2 day Practical Hypnosis weekend Workshop
The Behavioural Science Network (www.psymind.com) has organised an intensive 2 day workshop on modern scientific hypnosis. The focus of this workshop is to enable you to effortlessly induce and utilise trance so as to help people achieve their goals.
The workshop is intensive that means we start at 9.30 a.m. & conclude at 6.30 p.m. on both days.
Scientific hypnosis is highly effective methodology that rapidly enables one to get powerful results with a wide variety of human problems and conflicts. Modern Hypnosis finds many uses: reducing stress, personal growth, enhancing sports performance, eliminating bad habits such as smoking or overeating. It is one of the most effective means of helping people overcome fears and overcoming psychological problems. It also finds many uses in medicine and dentistry especially the relief of pain and therapy for psychosomatic disorders
This is a practical 'how to' workshop: where you will learn how to do, rather than about hypnosis and the focus will be on using classical techniques. The workshop will give you an opportunity to experience the hypnotic trance and experience self-hypnotic healing.Some of the topics covered in this workshop include.

3. Model of the mind & mind body interactions
4. Where hypnosis is indicated or contraindicated
5. The effective hypnotic pretalk
6. Induction techniques (progressive relaxation,
Elman & Instant inductions.)
7. Deepening
8. Techniques to Emerge client from trance
9. Post hypnotic suggestion
10. Laws of Suggestion,
11. Creating effective suggestions and the use of scripts.
12. Overview Different schools of hypnosis
(Classical, Elmanian, Ericksonian, NLP & hypno-psychoanalysis)
12. Self Hypnosis techniques.
13. Overview of Hypnotic Phenomenon and advanced hypnosis .
14. Group regression experience.
Date and Time: 7th-8th November 2009 (Sat-Sun) 9.30 am to 6.30 pm.

Fees: Rs. 4800/- (Early registration discount Rs. 4000 if your cheque received by 02/11/09). The fee includes a simple sandwich lunch. Cancellation fee 20% upto 24 hours before workshop. No refund thereafter.

Dr. DAYAL MIRCHANDANI, M.D., DPM, FIPS.will conduct the workshop. He has been teaching hypnosis since 1984 and has trained with leading therapists such as Dr Don Fuller and Dr John Frykman, a close colleague of Dr Milton Erickson.
He has been practising Behavioural Medicine and Psychiatry since 1981 He is Director of the Behavioural Science Foundation and has been actively involved in training and therapy in the field of psychotherapy and hypnotherapy.
He has been a Member of the Board of Studies (Psychology) of both S.N.D.T.University and University of Mumbai (Bombay University)and on the Committee for the selection of teachers in Psychology at the University of Mumbai. He was Director, Psychotherapy course, Dept of Continuing Education, SNDT University.
He is the author of Healing Heart Disease Naturally (1997) and Super Performance Learning (1999) published by India Book House Publishers. He is the co-author of Group therapy of addiction and a manual for the prevention of addiction sponsored by IFLD PARIS. The USIS invited him to America under its International Visitors Program in 1990 to discuss his work on psychotherapy for addiction.
He was Hon. psychiatrist at G.K. Piramal Memorial Hospital and co-founded the National Addiction Research Centre (NARC) and continues to be a governing body member of NARC which runs a 20 bedded in-patient research facility with extensive community outreach programs. He writes a regular column for Reader Digest.
An NLP hypnosis workshop will be held in Jan 2010 and an advanced hypnoanalysis workshop in Feb 2010. This will entitle you to apply for the certification exam as a hypno psychoanalyst.
